The following links are to the English and Hebrew interviews of Benjamin Netanyahu by Dana Weiss of Israel’s Channel Two news, on March 30, 2011.  The interviews have now been posted online, and I wanted to post the links here to encourage people to spend the time to watch them.  Each interview is about 26 minutes long.  If you speak both English and Hebrew, I encourage you to watch both, as the content of each is different (i.e. different questions for the most part).

Netanyahu’s responses are consistent in both interviews.  What I mean by that is that he is not saying one thing in English and the opposite in Hebrew.  This is important, as usually, what the PA/Fatah functionaries say in English to the world is quite different from what they tell their own people in Arabic.

Netanyahu quite clearly explains why there is not a partner for peace in the Arab camp, even more so right now than at any time in the past.  Quite simply, there is no one who can speak authoritatively for the Palestinians, with any hope that they will stay in power long enough to honor any commitments they make.

This is a very important set of interviews, and I hope you will take the time to watch them!
